For the best pricing, ask Heartland to coordinate your tree removal and stump grinding together. You’ll work directly with Matt from start to finish, with experienced, insured tree professionals handling the tree work.

Yes. Tree removal through Heartland includes debris cleanup. When stump grinding is done at the same time, mulch cleanup and hauling are included, too. If a storm brought the tree down, start with storm-damaged tree and debris cleanup so the work is assessed in the right order.

You’ll work with Matt to plan the job. Send the property address and photos taken from a safe distance, showing the tree, nearby structures and access. Let him know if you’d like to coordinate stump grinding with the removal in the same quote.

What happens to the stump after tree removal?

If you’d like the stump removed, ask Matt to include grinding with your tree removal. When both are done at the same time, mulch cleanup and hauling are included. You won’t be left with a pile of grindings to deal with.

For standalone stump grinding, prices start at $199, with typical residential stump projects around $199–$299. Grindings stay in a neat pile on those jobs. Ask Matt for a quote covering your tree removal and stump grinding together.

Replacement soil, seeding and further landscaping aren’t included. Tell Matt how you’d like to use the space so you can plan those next steps.
